Bellevue Restaurant is like non other restaurants that you will encounter in Penang. The restaurant not only serves a variety of western and fusion food, they also serve you an experience of the colonial lifestyle, bit and pieces of memory of the development in Penang Island, and more importantly sharing the intellectual property and experience of the owner and some of his best friends and records of their efforts in making the world a better place for free.
At the restaurant, visitors are able to admire the ‘belle vue’ of George Town City while having a meal, hotpot or even a cup of coffee. Observing the development of the hill and you might see the abandon Crag Hotel on top of Lomond Hill (on your left from the veranda of Bellevue Restaurant) which was the first hotel on Penang Hill.
Bellevue Hotel have a very close relationship with the landmark of Georgetown too! You are also able to walk through the tales of two best friends who built the landmark of Georgetown when passing through the alley towards the restaurant and admire their creation - KOMTAR and the Dome (one of Bucky’s last world project) from the Bellevue Restaurant.
